The Tides guys owe Starwood $27 million — and this time, it's personal. Sean Kia and Ryan Andrade, founders of multifamily syndicator Tides Equities, must pay lender Starwood Capital a little over $27 million after defaulting on a pair of loans and triggering multiple personal guarantees.
